Proof of Our Faith
There is only audio this week. The sermon is visible with the outline, and the song service can be heard on the mp3. Song lyrics are below. "My Hope Is in the Lord" My hope is in the Lord Who gave Himself for me, And paid the price of all my sin at Calvary. For me He died, For me He lives; and everlasting life and light He freely gives. No merit of my own His anger to suppress: My only hope is found in Jesus’ righteousness. For me He died, For me He lives; and everlasting life and light He freely gives. And now for me He stands Before the Father’s throne: He shows His wounded hands and names me as His own. For me He died, For me He lives; and everlasting life and light He freely gives. His grace has planned it all ‘Tis mine but to believe, And recognize His work of love, and Christ receive. For me He died, For me He lives; and everlasting life and light He freely gives. "The Love of God" The love of God is greater far Than tongue or pen can ever tell; It goes beyond the highest star, And reaches to the lowest hell; The guilty pair, bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win; His erring child He reconciled And pardoned from his sin. O love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure, The saints' and angels' song. When years of time shall pass away And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall; When men who here refuse to pray, On rocks and hills and mountains call; God's love, so sure, shall still endure, All measureless and strong; Redeeming grace to Adam's race – The saints' and angels' song. O love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure, The saints' and angels' song. Could we with ink the ocean fill, And were the skies of parchment made; Were ev'ry stalk on earth a quill, And ev'ry man a scribe by trade; To write the love of God above Would drain the ocean dry; Nor could the scroll contain the whole, Tho' stretched from sky to sky. O love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure, The saints' and angels' song. Offertory: "I Sing a New Song" I sing a new song since Jesus came, Serve a new Master, wear a new name, Walk a new road, have a new goal, Know a new peace down deep in my soul.
